Add protein powder. Add vanilla protein powder before frozen fruit to prevent clumping.
Add strawberries and seeds. Add frozen strawberries, ground flaxseed, vanilla extract, and honey if using.
Add ice. Top with ice cubes for additional thickness.
Blend until completely smooth. Start on low and gradually increase to high speed. Blend for 60 seconds until uniformly pink with no strawberry chunks or white protein powder streaks visible.
Adjust as needed. Too thick? Add more almond milk. Want it sweeter? Add another 1/2 teaspoon honey. Want more vanilla flavor? Add 1/4 teaspoon almond extract.
Pour and enjoy. Transfer to a large glass and drink within 20 minutes for best flavor and texture.
